The Annual Thanksgiving Throwdown Pickleball Event is back for 2021! The coordinators of The Annual Thanksgiving Throwdown Pickleball Event are pleased to announce the return to Augusta’s premier outdoor pickleball facility, The Courts at Montclair Park. 2021 will mark the events third time of hosting a day of thrilling pickleball played by some of the area’s most devoted, bravest and skilled players. Once again, this years event will be a blind draw for all participants regardless of skill or experience playing in a double elimination tournament format. We have found over the years that this format brings some of the most exciting pickleball ever witnessed in the Southeast and this year we are amping the excitement up to 11! Registration for this event will be $15 per player and all proceeds raised that day will go to the purchase of outdoor heating for The Courts at Montclair Park. Registration procedures will be announced soon and will open only to the first 32 lucky participants. Players are asked to come prepared for a full day of exciting competition paired with some of the most thrilling excitement and fun ever witnessed on a pickleball court and in this format.
