Get a glimpse into the western way of life through poems, songs, and stories from our featured cowboy poets. 32nd Annual Cowboy Christmas Poetry GatheringDecember 3 & 4, 2021 We invite you to visit our western community for this special heritage event. Featured cowboy poets & entertainers include Waddie Mitchell, Yvonne Hollenbeck, and Jean Prescott. FRIDAY EVENING - The Cowboy Reception is on Friday, December 3, includes refreshments and appetizers at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, located at 21 North Frontier Street. Our featured cowboy poets & entertainers will be performing acoustically to give you a small taste of what will be featured at the Saturday Night show. Limited tickets are available for the reception. The Friday reception runs from 6:00pm to 7:30pm; doors open 15 minutes earlier. Friday Admission: $10 per person; $20 at the door. SATURDAY EVENING - The featured cowboy poet's performance is scheduled on Saturday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wickenburg Community Center, 160 N. Valentine Street. Doors open at 6:30pm. Our featured performers will take the stage to share their stories and experiences of the Western lifestyle. Saturday Admission: $15 advance tickets; $25 after December 1st and at the door.
