Press release from the Town of Weymouth: November 1, 2021 - 9:02am The Weymouth Cultural Council is conducting a survey ahead of reviewing applications for funding.The Cultural Council is responsible for the distribution of Mass Cultural Council (state) funds to promote and encourage community-based programs in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences. The council annually reviews grant applications for eligible cultural programs.The Mass Cultural Council's Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences annually.
