Lindsay studied sports science at Northern Michigan University, while competing in cross country ski racing. She was a national sprint champion, NCAA champion, and competed for team USA in the 2006 Olympics. After retiring from professional racing in 2010, she decided to enroll in culinary school. She cooked at The Bachelor Farmer, Restaurant Alma, and then became a sous chef at Young Joni. But her heart was in health and fitness world. So when the pandemic hit she knew she wanted to find a place where she could share that passion. She found this gym called "Embrace North " that was about to open, and took a free class at 5 am. She knew she wanted to be a part of this community immediately... so she volunteered as much as she could for a few months. The volunteering turned into her dream job as head trainer at Embrace North. PIZZA + PEOPLE Did someone say Neapolitan pizza? We did!
