The four members who voted in favor all planned to submit letters of resignation to the Select Board, according to the meeting minutes. The Town Crier obtained letters of resignation from Chair Nancy Reid and member Vincent Fratalia. Fratalia and Reid cited lack of support from the town as a reason for the Partnership to discontinue. Laura Caplan and Greg Peters also voted to discontinue the committee, while Jake Brothers abstained. The other three members were absent. According to the minutes, Anne Marie Stronach, the Select Board representative, had asked Reed to bring the idea of discontinuing up for discussion. The committee was offering $30,000 for the request for proposals. "There were a couple of calls regarding the RFP with questions" but nothing more, according to minutes. According to the Town Crier, only the Select Board has the authority to dissolve a committee it created, like the Housing Partnership.
