SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville Police say they arrested a man after he threatened to kill employees with a gun when he was told to wait for his food order. Police were called to a business in the area of Somerville Avenue and Spring Street around 7 p.m. on Oct. 20 after the caller reported a fight. Police talked to a witness at the business, who said a man came inside to pick up his food orderThe witness said the man became upset when he was told there was a wait for his order, and argued with an employee. Police said he went to his vehicle, got a gun, and threatened to kill the employees. The suspect left in his vehicle before officers arrived, police said. Officers found the vehicle based on the description, and stopped it shortly after. The man was arrested, according to police. Officers recovered a handgun and two magazines, one of which was loaded, police said. The man has not been identified. 10/20/21 7PM, Area of Somerville Ave & Spring St for a FIGHT. Witness said a man came into the business to pick up a food order &became upset after being told to wait. The SUS threatened to kill the employees &fled the scene.
