Press release from the Town of Lexington: October 28, 2021 Veterans Day is Thursday, November 11 this year, a time for us to pay our respects to those who have served. For one day, we stand united in respect for our veterans. This year, we will be celebrating Veterans Day with a parade, as well as essays, posters and art work by our high school students. All non-emergency Town Office will be closed, including the Community Center and Cary Library. Curbside trash and recycling that is normally collected Thursday, will be collected Friday; normal Friday collection will be Saturday. This press release was produced by the Town of Lexington.
