Description
DANVERS, MA — While some members of the Danvers Police Department may look a little shaggy for the next 30 days or so, they are doing it for a good cause.
Danvers officers are participating in "No Shave November" to raise money and promote awareness for the Boston Red Sox and Massachusetts General Hospital "Home Base" program. The program helps fund care for veterans and their families as they trail to heal from invisible wounds, such as post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries.
Each participating offer has pledged at least $100 to Home Base and Danvers residents are asked to consider helping support the program as well here.
Home Base is available to veterans and their families in need of a wide range of services. More information can be found from Connect with Care at 617-724-5202.
