East Bay established general contractor looking for a well qualified, experienced apprentice or journeyman carpenter. ***PLEASE SUBMIT A RESUME OR SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING*** - 3+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial projects. - Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints, diagrams, and plans. - Ability to follow directions and perform quality work. - Punctual, self-starter, capable of working with a team, or working alone on individual tasks. - Ability to ensure General Contractor’s safety and quality standards are upheld. - Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required. - Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials. - Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment. - Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations. - Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects. - Inspecting the integrity of structures upon their installation. Must have reliable transportation, valid CA DL, clean driving record and basic carpentry tools. Must be local to the east bay and or living in Oakland.
