Led by coach Brittany Dougher, she said her team is filled with several strong players this year. Sophomore Sophia Papacostas led the county in goals scored with 15. Dougher described senior Catherine Amini, a center midfielder, as the team's quarterback on the field as she has helped to facilitate plays.
Dougher also recognized the team's defensive unit that includes Nicole Servider, Angelina Ferrara, Sophia Ruperto, Lauren Henning and Britney Roller.
The team is looking forward to a conference championship and a playoff run for the county title.
