Job Description Immediate employment! Looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team! We are a residential remodeling company with projects ranging from single rooms to full homes. Skills range from experienced demolition, rough and finish carpentry, tile setting, cabinet installation and more. Attention to detail is a must. Broad knowledge and / or experience in flooring installation, drywall install, tile setting and general home remodeling is a plus - as we are a general contractor and handle all elements of construction on smaller projects. Construction workloads are off the charts and we're in immediate need of employees. If you are a motivated, reliable and focused individual with an eye for detail, we want to speak with you. We're interested in both intermediate / beginner tradespeople and experienced lead carpenters. Work on challenging projects with a focus on detail, matching existing conditions, often complex framing and trimwork details, and learn new skills. Professional demeanor with clients is required. Were looking for those with a great work ethic, along with being prompt and reliable. Should have a general / broad knowledge base in construction, framing, cabinet and trimwork installation in residential construction. Project locations vary, however are int he southeastern area of Wisconsin, from Wauwatosa to Milwaukee. Some repeat client work and referrals will take us to Elkhorn and north to Cedarburg. Year round work. Due to current workloads, we are willing to speak to temporary employees as well as long-term. Job Type: Full-time / temporary or long term. Pay: Based on skill set and experience. Negotiable. $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: We work with our staff to accommodate personal conflicts such as health care appointments and preferred days off. One week paid vacation after 3 months, a second after 6 months (2 weeks per year). Holiday bonus. Personal time off other than or surpassing vacation hours is unpaid, however we are able to be accommodating for additional days off with advanced notice. Paid Overtime and holidays for full-time employees. Paid mileage between jobs for for supply pick-up / deliveries. Truck vehicle is a plus. Must have basic construction tools (hammer, speed square, hammer, tool belt, etc.) Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Construction: 2 years in residential preferred for base-line employment. 5 Years+ for lead carpentry.
