We have a great opportunity for someone with an interest in elevators and managing projects! Proposed Work Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday (hours negotiable). Lift Solutions, Inc. is a leader in the elevator modernization, new construction and repair industry. Your job as an Order Manager would focus on order management and the ability to build quotes, manage material orders and approval drawings with efficiency and accuracy. The Role: As an Order Manager you will have the ability to understand numerous products as well as their applications and have professional experience in client relations. You will be able to respond to customer requests for quotations & orders. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to follow up on orders in a timely manner. You will work closely with the sales team to keep our customer data base current and active. You should understand the importance of being a team player, have a sense of humor and enjoy working in a positive environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives under pressure, can be assertive when required and has the ability to complete a given task in a schedule driven, highly accountable environment. Responsibilities: Estimating: Obtain quotes from suppliers and build quotes. Order Entry: Enter all booked orders into LSI tracking system. Recognize need for immediacy. Order Status: Maintain up to date status on all orders for sold projects. Purchase Orders: Issue and follow up on purchase orders submitted to clients and other vendors for project materials. Manage Deadlines: for assigned projects. Customer Contact: Keep customer updated on order status and resolve any outstanding issues related to order. Utilize phone daily to work with clients and customers. Database Management: continually update contact records as needed. Requirements: Must be self-motivated, articulate; possess excellent verbal and written communications, and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work smart in a fast paced, chaotic environment Must be detail oriented and organized Ability to think outside of the box and a willingness to go above and beyond Preferred Skills: Production or Construction experience is a plus (or project management), but not required Mechanical Aptitude a PLUS CRM (Salesforce) experience beneficial but not required Ability to review specifications/drawings is beneficial but not required Experience with Apple OS preferred and Windows Office Work Hours: This is a full-time position (although part-time is possible if preferred). Benefits include PTO accrual for hours worked, medical for full time. Potential for growth, depending upon performance. This is not a work from home position.
