LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — There will be elections for town council and school board in Lawrenceville on Tuesday, Nov. 2. This year New Jersey gave voters three options to cast their ballots — early voting, vote-by-mail, and by going to their polling place, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Nov. 2. The state has made accommodations for voters with disabilities. Here are the Lawrenceville polling locations: Lawrenceville Fire Co, 64 Phillips Ave.: District 1, 4, 7, 15, 20Slackwood Fire House, 21 Slack Ave.: District 2, 9, 10Lawrence Road Fire Co, 1252 Lawrence Road: District 3, 6, 8, 11Project Freedom at Lawrence, 1 Freedom Blvd.: District 5Lawrence Senior Center, 30 Darrah Lane East: District 12, 13, 14, 19Lawrence Square Village Clubhouse, 1 Reed Court: District 16Lawrence Twp. Phil Murphy is facing a challenge from the Republican nominee, Jack Ciattarelli, as well as Madelyn Hoffman of the Green Party of New Jersey, Gregg Mele of the New Jersey Libertarian Party, and Joanne Kuniansky of the Socialist Workers Party. Assemblymembers Verlina Reynolds-Jackson of Trenton and Anthony Verrelli of Pennington are seeking re-election. Challenging them are Republican Patricia Johnson of Lawrenceville and Independent candidate Pedro M. Reyes of Ewing. Two candidates are running for two available seats on the council — James S. Kownacki and Christopher Bobbitt. Meanwhile, eight candidates are vying for three open seats on the Lawrence Township Public Schools Board of Education.
