SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — Run your feet before you eat. Or wobble before you gobble. However you phrase it, Thanksgiving "turkey trots" are back — and mostly in-person — in 2021 throughout the San Diego region and nearby. Most are linked with local charities, including schools, sports teams, food banks and parks. And several offer kid-friendly runs for the little ones, with costumes encouraged. Do note: Not all races take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25. Some occur on weekends before and after.
