Driver Seriously Injures Bicyclist In Pacifica, Flees Scene

PACIFICA, CA — A bicyclist riding along the shoulder lane of Skyline Boulevard in Pacifica suffered serious injuries Sunday evening after being struck by a car from behind. The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The driver did not stop and fled the scene, according to the Pacifica Police Department. Police are seeking witnesses. The incident happened in the area of Skyline Boulevard and Sharp Park Road around 6:50 p.m. People are asked to call 650-738-7314 if they have any information related to this investigation.
