LHS Drama Club Performs 'It's A Wonderful Life' Live Radio Play

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School's drama club will stage the holiday classic, "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play," as its fall play. According to the school, the show will run at the performing arts center at 7 p.m. Nov. 4-Nov. 6. All tickets purchased in advance online are $7; tickets may be purchased on Lemont High School's website and will be available at Will Call the night of the performance. If purchased at the door, adult tickets increase to $10, the school said. The "It's a Wonderful Life" live radio play is based on the story "The Greatest Gift" by Philip Van Doren, and adapted by Joe Landry, according to the school. The holiday classic comes to life, cleverly staged as a live 1940s radio broadcast. "It's a Wonderful Life" will be performed under the direction of Paula Smith and Leslie Kane. Those planning to attend any performance of "It's a Wonderful Life" may park in the school's parking garage or in the lot outside the Performing Arts Center; both are accessible off of Julia Street.
