DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department is currently investigating an alleged assault of four children by a group of teenagers in Doylestown Borough on Halloween night. According to Sergeant Mark Bolender, the alleged incident occurred last night while the four children were trick-or-treating. A group of about 10 teenagers allegedly approached the four children, with one of them striking and pushing a girl to the ground before taking her pillow case full of Halloween candy. The alleged incident occurred at the playground of Doyle Elementary School, according to police. As this investigation is ongoing, names and other details are being withheld.
