An entrepreneurial East Hanover, NJ-based tactical lifestyle brand selling predominantly online is looking for someone to manage order processing (direct to customer via Shopify and wholesale), picking, packing, shipping, customer service responses, warranty and repair orders, warehouse management (small warehouse) and other light office management duties. JOB DESCRIPTION: Warehouse/Shipping Management & Customer Service START DATE: ASAP DAYS/HOURS: +25 Hrs/week TBD (5 hours/day) TRAVEL: None SALARY: To be negotiated Small, entrepreneurial office based in East Hanover, NJ, is looking for a warehouse/shipping and customer service manager. The company manufactures and sells tactical clothing and gear B2C via website and at wholesale. We use a Shopify & Cin7 which require you to have an ease with working with integrated platforms, though the flow will be taught on the job. Comfort and experience with technology is REQUIRED. Approximate breakdown of responsibilities are as follows: 40% Warehouse management which includes receiving inventory, organizing the warehouse, picking, packing, and shipping individual as well as wholesale orders with accuracy. Annual inventory counts. This job requires you to be able to lift and move boxes in an often crowded environment.40% Customer Service which includes responding to customer emails on change orders, product questions, and other daily inquiries. Answer questions, provide information or get answers internally and follow up. Manage repairs, returns and refunds through our platforms. This job requires organization, a friendly communication style, decent writing skills (for customer email responses). 20% Office Management examples of which include helping organize samples, order supplies, light filing, help with miscellaneous projects as needed. About YOU: Must be outgoing, positive, assertive, energetic, fun, smart and ORGANIZED. You have an ability to be resourceful and solution-oriented. We love people who come to the table with ideas and are constantly looking for new and better ways of doing things so you can’t be shy! Skills: confidence in your ability to learn how to navigate simple online platforms that are part of our order fulfillment process. Microsoft Excel. Mail system is Outlook. Ability to craft clear emails to customers. Office Environment: A very casual work environment. There is no dress code.. No cubicles and no attitude. We listen to the radio and converse all day long. Our customer is generally a person who is part of the law enforcement and/or military community. Language can be colorful.
