Missing Woman Last Seen In Elmhurst: Cops

ELMHURST, IL — A 51-year-old woman who is an employee at Elmhurst Courts Plus is considered missing and endangered, Elmhurst police said Monday night. Astrid Blume was last seen walking south and away from Courts Plus, 186 W. West Ave., about 10:50 a.m. She suffers from a medical condition that may cause her to wander or walk away at times, police said. According to a police news release, Blume has been previously reported missing and was discovered to have walked long distances or seek shelter in wooded areas. Blume was last seen wearing a blue hat, a blue coat with a hood and brown buttons, a white sweater, white pants and white shoes, police said. She left behind her phone. She is described as white, 5-foot-5, having a medium build, 150 pounds, and having blond and gray hair and blue eyes. Elmhurst Courts Plus is owned by the Elmhurst Park District.
