Oregon COVID-19 Cases Close In On 370,000, Deaths Approach 4,400

GRESHAM, OR —The Oregon Health Authority released its new report tallying the weekend cases of COVID-19, the number of deaths, and hospital capacity. If there's good news t be gleaned from it, it's that there are more adult ICU and non-ICU beds available. Slightly. The state says that when tallied together, the state's hospitals are only at 91 percent capacity in both categories. The health authority reported there were 5 new deaths bringing the total to 4,377 and 2,569 new cases, bringing the total to 367,610. Those numbers are for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday combined because the state no longer reports numbers every day.
