Press release from the City of Dunwoody: 11/01/2021 10:30 a.m. Dunwoody, GA – November 1, 2021 – The City of Dunwoody will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. on November 11 at the Brook Run Park Veterans Memorial (4770 N. Peachtree Road). The public ceremony is hosted by Dunwoody Parks and Recreation with support from the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs VFW Post 10822 and Dunwoody Woman's Club. "This is an important way to show our gratitude to those who have fought and served," said Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch. "We admire their commitment to defend our country and protect our freedoms. We also want to express our thanks to their families for their sacrifices." Major Andrew W. Radloff, United States Air Force, will be the keynote speaker. He is a C2ISR Assignments Officer based at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas, where he is responsible for the management of two thousand pilots, navigators, and electronic warfare officers. Major Radloff is the son of Dunwoody residents Capt. and Mrs. Wayne Radloff, United States Navy, Retired. Together, the three family members have served in active duty for more than half a century. Local students will play an important role in the ceremony. The Dunwoody High School Air Force JROTC will present the colors. The Dunwoody High School Chorus will perform "High Flight" and "A Tribute to the Armed Services." Rev.
