ATLANTA — A fight on an airplane and the mischief that ensued have landed one man in jail, police said. Police were called to a boarding gate in Hartsfield Jackson International Airport around 7 a.m. on Friday when an altercation started aboard a Delta Airlines flight, according to Atlanta Police reports. Police say the dispute started when 30-year-old Curtis Maurice Clayton, of Greenville, SC, protested German Montez placing something in the back of Clayton's seat on the plane. "The dispute escalated until Clayton punched Montez, after which Clayton was then restrained by a passenger," a police spokesperson said in a statement. Clayton was uncooperative when police arrived and in his protestations damaged a police patrol car, police said.
