Wicks Roofing and Solar is a well established company with locations in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura. We are Looking for experienced electricians to join our growing team. Growth opportunities and career paths are available.
The Candidate MUST:
*Have experience in Commercial and Residential (1 phase vs 3 phase) projects
*Possess working knowledge of the NEC as it pertains to both residential and commercial systems
*Review and follow plans
*Understand proper wire sizing techniques
*Capable of performing Service Upgrades.
*Be capable of bending clean and aesthetic conduit
*Solar experience is preferred but not absolutely necessary for the right candidate.
*Ability to work overtime if needed.
*Travel on projects from Ventura to Santa Maria as needed
Addtional experience desired but not required:
*Experience in SolarEdge and Enphase Inverter systems for both troubleshooting and installation
*High familiarity with Battery Backups/Energy Storage
*Experience and certifications in Tesla Powerwall
*Experience or certifications in Tesla SolarRoof.
*Experience or certifications in Enphase Encharge Battery Systems
*Working knowledge of low voltage and Consumption meters.
*Familiarity with load sizing for creating Critical Panels/Protected Loads/Microgrids.
