We are a guitarist and bassist seeking others interested forming a dark garage psych band also influenced by 60’s pop, surf, and western type sounds. Ideally seeking: Lead guitar Drums Organ Tambourine/ hand percussion Possibly baritone sax Main influences are Velvet Underground, Jesus and Mary Chain, BRMC, Stones, Stooges, Sonics, BJM, Ravonenettes... But also into Crystals, Supremes, Ronettes 60’s type stuff, just with a dark twist. We usually rent a space in Silverlake for a few hours a week and would like to bring in some new people to play with, but not a large group at once to “just jam”. We’re also currently looking for a permanent space. We have songs finished and a 4 song demo that will give you an idea of our sound, but we’re also interested in writing new stuff with new musicians. Looking for people who like vintage type equipment and have a vintage style and aesthetic. The darker and moodier the better.
