Food Lifeline believes that hunger doesn’t have to happen, and our mission is to feed people experiencing hunger today and work to end hunger for tomorrow. We’re currently hiring an Advocacy Campaign Coordinator. The Advocacy Campaigns Coordinator will keep all Food Lifeline advocacy team members apprised of legislative movement at all levels of government to help identify and manage opportunities for Food Lifeline advocacy assets to play a determinative role in producing policy outcomes that center on hunger, poverty, social injustice, and systemic racism. This role is responsible for leading identified local, state, and federal issue campaigns, while working closely with the Director of Advocacy & Public Policy on implementation and to ensure that the overall advocacy and public policy goals are tracked and met. This position will be directly engaged in work to advance our public policy platform by partnering with legislative champions and mobilizing advocates to push for hunger relief and poverty reduction – a key Food Lifeline strategic objective.
