Alison is so misinformed • If you worked, you paid in to social security since you had your first job • If you worked, you paid into medicare since you had your first job • Citizens are taxed to pay for the parks • Citizens are taxed to pay for the beaches (Most still charge for entry anyway) • Citizens are taxed to pay for the Libraries • Citizens are taxed to pay for the food programs that are from the government • Citizens are taxed to pay for the schools and should be given school choice. Its their money after all. Only the misinformed would believe public education is free. • Citizens are taxed to pay for the roads at the rate of 25 cents per gallon in NY • Citizens are taxed to pay for the police and 911 Is it possible that Alison believes that if you paid your rent or your mortgage and taxes you shouldn't be able to live in your home? With all the taxes we pay we have the Resident of the US who has brought us price increases very difficult to deal with • Used cars: 24% • New cars: 42% • Fuel: 43% • Energy: 25% • Hotels: 18% • Dining out: 8% • Rent: 2.9% • Bacon: 19% • Eggs: 13% • Kid's shoes: 12% • Furniture: 11% Unless this is all free for her, Alison is just misinformed.
