Tiger is female, unaltered, 3.5 years old, born in March of 2018. She is border collie (mom) Australian Shepherd and blue heeler mix (dad) mix and she plays the part. She has been a wonderful companion to my husband and I but over the years has grown more intolerant of our kids (all under the age of 10). While she is sometimes tolerant of them, she often growls and nips at them and her behavior is unpredictable towards them, especially if we (adults) are near. We believe this is a pack order issues but not sure how to resolve it. We believe she would be better suited in a home without kids and preferably with someone with experience with behavioral issues and willing to work with her. Even better if you have land or a farm with animals she can herd (although she will kill chickens if she not watched closely). She is very affectionate (towards my husband and I), she wants to please, is motivated by food and attention. She has been crate trained, is used to sleeping in a crate or not. She can be left alone in the house and does not chew up or destroy anything. We really want her to have a good home and want it to be the right fit.
