The Concrete Facility Technician is a master level position that performs general, advanced and professional-grade maintenance in construction, dry wall, masonry, roofing, HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing, as well as building and ground repairs. This position coordinates repairs with vendors and other Facility Technicians and trains and directs the work of new Facility Technicians.
High school diploma or its equivalent and at least five years of facility maintenance experience or 8 years of related experience
Demonstrated familiarity with the principles and techniques of plumbing repair, wood finishing, painting, electrical work and carpentry
Working knowledge of the operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and tools
Experience with HVAC system components, hot water heater installation, air compressor and pump repairs, control systems and conveyors
Working knowledge of lawn maintenance and landscaping procedures
Ability to operate a pallet jack, lift and forklift
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
Written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current MVR, with no serious accidents or traffic violations
At least three years of general building maintenance experience
Course work or other trades training
HVAC certification
Electrical certification
Water treatment certification
