Bilingual Child Academy in Stone Oak, a Spanish Immersion Early Learning center in San Antonio, Texas, is looking for a Child Care Preschool Assistant Director / Office Administrator who is strong in curriculum and discipline. Requirements: * High School or equivalent (required) * Education background or classroom experience 3+ years (preferred) * 21 years of age or older * Office /Administration experience * Leadership skills * Training & Coaching skills to support teaching staff * SPANISH fluent, is able to communicate effectively in English in both writing and speaking for parent communications. Job Description: The Assistant Director of a childcare center needs to be ready to lead a group of talented teachers to provide the highest quality care in early childhood. A school director is a coach, counselor, receptionist, organizer, friend and the mom who sometimes has to provide tough-love to whomever needs it. The main goal of a director is to ensure the safety and nurturing of our young little customers and the reassurance to the parents that their children are in a happy and safe place. So... Goals for an Office Administrator are: * Enroll children and establish and maintain a friendly relationship with parents and families * Oversee supplies and budgets * Oversee that office manager is billing, purchasing, and maintaining student files appropriately * Oversee that teachers/staff are following State Childcare guidelines * Handle emergencies in a safe and professional manner. * Communication, communication, communication with everyone. * Coach and Train staff on proper disciplinary standards and support in curriculum instruction. * Lead Parent/Teacher conferences when there is a need.
