Hello, I am looking to open up a small batting center with a few cages to start, nothing huge but decent sized (with expansion plans later) asap and hopefully by January 2022 the latest. Ideally, the Bergen County / north N.J. area is best and I do know of a few locations in mind to rent which would be perfect and eagerly would like to show any potential partner. Already have a very large built-in clientele base, as my son is involved in several baseball teams, so the kids and coaches all would become regulars. Possibly working out a monthly fee to members like a gym could be a good idea and also a way to be unique in this particular business, as other related establishments generally just do the pay-by-the-day coin operation. My family has a long history of having success in this, we have owned and operated several such sports facilities in the '80s and '90s where we've had regular celebrity batting instructors visit from the Yankees. It has been my dream for years to resurrect it and I've got the know-how on setting up and running things, as well as the customers and the connections. Above all else, the passion. The only thing slowing me down is the funding.
