Looking to add a beautiful addition to your backyard flock? Royal Palm turkeys are a heritage breed that stays under 20lbs. They are long-lived and very gentle, making them excellent pets. Females are good mothers, and the males are always eager to strut and display their beautiful plumage. Also make good "guard birds" since they will gobble to warn you of danger, and mob intruders. Friendly with kids and pets (though I don't have a dog, so you'd have to do a slow introduction) Hatched Aug 15th 2021, I have 2 males and 2 females looking for a new flock. (These are not your standard meat turkey, and will NOT be suitable for this year's Thanksgiving dinner) The boys are starting to fight with their dad so I am hopeful to find them new homes before winter when they get cooped up more frequently to avoid too much confrontation. The females will likely start laying in the spring. NH state tested flock. Willing to part in m/f pairs, or place all 4. Located in North Haverhill, NH 03774. Local pickup only - weekday evenings from 6-8pm, or can arrange pickup with more flexibility on weekends. $25 rehoming fee per bird.
