BirchStone Management 1201 Big Town Blvd. Dallas, TX 75227 Inventory Control Specialist Contact: Jessica Flores - 972-626-5396(Call or text) Job Summary: The Inventory Control Specialist will oversee of all aspects of inventory control, inventory shrinkage, item data, return of damaged merchandise to vendors. Maintains and improves the inventory control processes as well as minimizing costs associated with inventory management. Essential Duties Secures inventory by establishing and enforcing admittance protocols and evaluating area access monitors. Meets inventory control operational standards by contributing inventory control information to strategic plans and reviews. Implements production, productivity, quality and customer service standards. Resolves issues and identifies inventory control system improvements. Achieves inventory control financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions. Maintains safe work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with regulations. Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Review monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights. Investigate and identify root causes for inventory shrinkage, damaged goods report including process failures and data inaccuracy. Managing team members to ensure compiling and inputting of records is done accurately and efficiently. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy Effective time management and the ability to prioritize Strong written and verbal communication skills Skilled in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and inventory control software Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work in a warehouse environment (non-climate controlled) and operate a forklift/clamp equipment Prefer previous experience in the area of Quality/Auditing Bilingual is plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time Benefits: Weekly Pay Medical/Dental/Vision after 30 days 401K, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
