Artisan Open House Event When: Saturday, November 6th -- 10 am - 2 pm Where: 110 Island Palms Dr, Carolina Beach, NC The event is being held by two artisans, Rhonda Jones and Brett West. Brett is a woodworker that is always on the lookout for local area woods to use for his turnings and projects. He will be offering both finished products, and wood that is rough sawn or surfaced. Some of the rough sawn/surfaced items include: Woodturning blanks (both kiln dried and lightly seasoned) in a variety of sizes and species, black walnut slabs and cookies, eastern red cedar slices, and more. Some of the finished items include: Drink taster flight boards, turned bottle openers and stoppers, and signs. Quantities will be limited as this is from a personal collection of wood. Rhonda is an illustrator and local artist who creates colorful positive art. She will be selling stickers, journal date covers, decals, prints, cards, framed art, magnets, fabric pieces and her newest creation, a 12 month planner. Come by and meet the artisans.
