Event Staff Needed This Weekend The GPA is looking for a few great gig workers to assist with a private event on November 6th, 2021. The event will be in Grapevine, Texas from 1pm to 9pm. Applicants must have experience working with banquets or events that require this type of work. You will be required to cover chairs, drape tablecloths, set-up tables with dinnerware, fold napkins and other set-up décor. Nothing is heavy, the job is simple and fun. About us: The GPA is a creative company that promote and produce events for our parent company as well as private clients. We are always looking to contract with gig workers to assist with private parties, craft shows, pop-up events, and more. Job Duties: • Assist with event set-up by draping tablecloths, covering chairs, placing silverware and napkins on each table NEATLY. • Assist with setting up a 10x10 & 11x13 backdrops. • Assist with event breakdown by removing tablecloths, chair covers and disposing of trash. There will be trash cans on-site nothing that will get you dirty. • Keep event area clean and assist with other duties as assigned. WHAT I EXPECT FROM YOU! • Must have an outgoing personality, please do not APPLY if you are not a people person. • Must be professional, no loud talking, no profanity of any kind. NO USE OF SLANG! • MUST KEEP CELL-PHONES IN PURSE OR POCKET. YOU ARE BEING CONTRACTED TO WORK FOR A FEW HOURS AND IF YOU CAN’T WORK WITHOUT USING THE PHONE THEN DO NOT APPLY! • Must dress professional FOLLOW the required dress attire (black pants and long white button-down shirt) with black dress shoes. • Must have a pleasing appearance, be well-groomed, hair must be clean and in a professional style. No baseball caps, hoodies, stocking caps, headwear or sneakers will be accepted. • Keep the event area neat, help with check-in, set-up, helping, and monitoring the event DATE: November 6, 2021 TIME: 1pm-9pm COMPENSATION: $150 (CASH AT THE END OF THE NIGHT) If you are selected, you will need to arrive 1 hour before the event starts to complete paperwork and receive your assignment. That means you will need to arrive at 12pm work begins at 1pm. You will be allowed to eat at no charge. The event is a birthday party for my client, his wife is turning 60. All ages are encouraged to apply, I love working with people from all walks of life. I do not care what you identify as, I treat everyone with respect.
