DAYS AND HOURS MAY VARY EACH WEEK.*** ***MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION*** A locally-owned home staging company located on the west side is looking for part-time experienced mover/drivers who are energetic, flexible and self-starters with strong attention to detail to join our team. Movers would work both in our warehouse in Van Nuys and also installing furniture and accessories into clients' homes throughout Los Angeles. This is a fast-paced job with little down time when we are staging, and we are looking for people who are interested in getting the job done! HOURS: Part-time, approximately 10-30 hours per week. Monday - Friday. Must be flexible, as hours vary from week to week and schedules change frequently. **This is a part-time position. We only work M-F. Work typically starts at 8:30-9:00AM and we usually finish by 2:00-3:00PM. The number of days you will work will depend on the number of jobs we have at any given time.** DUTIES: • Locate and Pull Required Inventory from Warehouse • Pack/Protect Furniture for Transportation/Storage • Load/Unload Truck with Furniture and Transport Between Warehouse and Clients' Homes • Assemble/Disassemble Furniture • Hang Art/Mirrors • Pick up Furniture from Vendors • Stack and Drive 16’-26’ Box Trucks JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Furniture Moving, Installation, and/or Related Experience (min 1 yr) • Able to do physical work such as assembling furniture, unpacking shipments, breaking down large boxes, lifting furniture off/onto shelving, moving furniture from warehouse to truck and from truck into a home carefully and without damage to furniture or property • Able to stoop, climb ladders, bend over to lift items • Able to lift and carry heavy furniture, including up and down stairs • Able to legally and safely drive a 16’-26’ truck • Over 21 with a valid drivers license and clean driving record (no DUIs) • Highly organized and efficient • Detail-oriented • Team player with good communication, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills • Positive, helpful, and respectful attitude • Reliable to show up when scheduled • Trustworthy • Able to work safely and follow company guidelines We will consider applicants that can only work on certain week days.
