Echo Valley Ski Area is hiring for the 2021-22 Season. These are part time seasonal positions. Weather permitting, the ski area will be open on December 18th. We are open everyday during the holiday period through January 2nd. After the holiday period, we will open on weekends through February 21, including Martin Luther King & Presidents day. Our operations schedule is highly dependent on the weather. Without snow, we can’t open… think Snow!! The following positions are available: Assistant/Rental Operations Manager - this position reports to the operation manager. It includes both operational and administrative tasks. The primary focus of this position is managing the rental operation from guest intake to gear return. In addition to rental shop management, tasks include: greet guests, operate lifts and tows, monitor safety and enforce ski area safety policies, assist with payroll and work scheduling, coordinate opening and closing activities, etc. Management experience is a plus, but not required. Availability during the holiday period is critical. Hill Operator - must be 18 years old. Operates rope tows and poma. Coordinates parking, assists with ticket sales Assists with ski hill opening and closing procedures. Tube Operator - works with a small team of operators to open, run, and close the tubing hill. The tube operator assists guests on arrival and exit, explains rules and procedures. monitors tubing safety, enforces tubing safety hill policies. Experience with customer service and ski area operation is good, but not required. Reliability and availability are critical qualifications. You must have reliable transportation.
