Arden Street near Broadway, New York City NY
Description
First of all: All tradesman must be licensed GC and tradesmen must be insured Co-op near Dykeman needs a GC to handle some jobs asap. If you’re not available, please don’t reply with four or six week start time. This is a rush. 1) Electrician: *Repair shady conduit hanging from ceiling. SEE PICS - install the switch in the wall, repair the ceiling and wall. Paint not news as long as it’s plastered and smooth. *Install 20 - 25 GFI, replacing old plugs. *Install 2 or 3 dimmers, replacing existing. *Install wiring for four closet lights- can pigtail off existing outlets, install handybox switch for low voltage LEDs. *Troubleshoot back of apartment where lights flicker and dim - power is fluctuating in 3 rooms. EX: A drop light works, but when you hit the trigger on a tool the lights go out. Release the trigger and the lights come back on. I’ve been told there’s a loose GROUND, or HOT wire. Might be in the breaker box, might be in the wall somewhere. Big companies don’t want this job. Handymen aren’t qualified. 2) Tub demo / shower install: SEE PICS Demo this tub and tile the floor for a shower, complete the drain, install a glass shower wall and overhead showerhead. 3) 2’ x 2’ Hole in ceiling near a large pipe in a closet. It’s old plaster and cement ceilings. 4) Remove one of six hanging kitchen cabinets from the wall, (end cabinet, not middle) leave the wall plastered and clean, painted to match existing. Paint is on site. 5) Repair kitchen ceiling: plaster is buckling about to come down in the front half. More details: Someone has moved into the space, but hasn’t unpacked in anticipation of the work that needs to be done. Drops will cover the boxes and stacked furniture. The walls are clear and work-ready. The work has to be approved by the board and paperwork submitted before moving forward. This is a good job for someone who wants work, but I’m a super so please don’t try and BS me. Ask me any questions you want, but you have to include a contact #. References required. Thanks
