Ryder Material Handler FULL-TIME $17.50/hr 1115 Middlesex Ave, Bldg 3, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07064 The purpose of this position is to accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, load/unload trailers, move product throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required. 2nd shift has $1/hr Shift difference Responsibilities: -Reading, interpreting, and applying Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions -Recognizing and correcting potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer -Recognizing damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered -Pulling orders accurately as assigned -Staging orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location - Preparing receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process - Following location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures - Performing housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned - Potentially operating fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery -2nd shift has $1/hr Shift difference Schedule - Shift start: 2:30PM - Shift length: 8.5 hours - Days: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 60 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - -Minimum of one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial lift experience required - -Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc. - -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas - -The ability to input data into various WMS computer systems - -Work overtime as assigned - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About Ryder Ryder is the leader in fleet management solutions, as well as supply chain management and logistics for businesses of all sizes
