Local Author Signing of Daddy Let's Play!, Storytime & Activity with Rodney Freeman, Jr. (Kids) Join us at Rohi's Readery for an exciting local author signing and activity with incredible author Rodney Freeman Jr! About the book: Daddy, Let's Play! is a tale of the special bond between a father and daughter. In this story, Milah has spent many nights playing video games with her father until one night he doesn't come home. Milah dives into her video game world to rescue her father and hopes to bring him home. About the incredible author: Freeman has worked in academic, public, and government libraries for over ten years and has worked in multiple positions from a library page up to a library administrator. He has lead numerous special projects from library renovation, space planning, and strategic planning projects. He has lead several digital library projects and has been a strong advocate of diverse digital collections. Driven with passion, Rodney Freeman started Preservation LLC to help people preserve and convert their photos and documents onto a digital format. Along with starting his company, in 2018, Rodney developed a platform called The Black Male Archives where the objective is to capture, curate, and promote positive stories about Black men to combat the negative images portrayed in the media.
