The program runs from 9 am to 1 pm . It promises to be a rewarding experience for all involved! The program is geared towards grades K-8th. Pricing is based on children/participants per household. ** Your one-time registration fee includes a participant drawstring bag for your participant to carry their projects. ** Auntie Connie’s Creative Corner (ACCC) is a labor of love...the LOVE OF ART. It’s founder, Constance A. Kinder, affectionately known as Auntie Connie, has educated hundreds of students from pre-k through 12th grade in the visual arts. She has also worked with many young artists in the performing art of dance. On February 2, 2019, Auntie Connie was asked to assist with her niece's upcoming milestone birthday party with an "art project" theme. After that conversation, the idea to provide the same for other children hit and the rest is herstory!!! At the Creative Corner, we believe that “art is life” and therefore it is important that children of all ages are able to express their creative side in a multi-faceted way. This is why our activities include different types of visual and performing art activities. The power of creation for a child is part of their development, and we are proud to be part of that experience. They can look at what they have drawn, painted, sang, acted, or danced to and appreciate the time shared and growth made throughout the duration. ACCC hosts art activities for all school-aged artists (from kindergarten throgh high school), including a visual and performing arts camp during the summer, winter, and spring break, art-themed parties, and "creative kids events" within adult organizational events.
