Learn to make a decorative and beautiful quilt square ready for framing!
Join Rita for a morning of quilting. Fun and educational!
This class will feature the Pinwheel block which started to be used in quilt making in the late 1700's and was one of the first blocks used to make quilts. Your finished piece will be as decorative and beautiful as well as functional.
The pinwheel is one of the basic quilting patterns. The pattern for a basic Pinwheel block is so easy and so versatile. It is used in making so many other blocks but is also great on its own. We will be making a pinwheel block with some modifications. Basic techniques, piecing and the hand quilting will be featured. Join the fun and learn step by step how to quilt by hand and piece it together by machine.
You will leave with your own ---x---quilt block perfect for starting your own quilt or for framing to add a piece of artistic beauty to your home.
