During this three hour immersion we will discuss the neurological constraints of memory, perception, and less than attuned listening. You will receive a neuroscience based lecture to increase shared intellectual understanding of communication pitfalls and mistakes. In conjunction you will be guided through experiential exercises intended to help you embody heartfelt and clear conversation. Whether you’re longing for more intimacy, a faster resolution of your differences, or hoping to feel more seen in your relationship, this is the course for you!

Sylvie Lam is a licensed therapist specializing in mindfulness-based somatic modalities and focusing on healthy relationships and interpersonal trauma. Her couples work is rooted in her training with Stan Tatkin’s Psychobiological Attachment based Couples Therapy (PACT) and she weaves in her own background in developmental psychology and yoga. She deeply believes that healthy couples make healthier families and communities and is on a mission to normalize couples therapy. She also teaches couples therapy and developmental psychology to therapists in training at Naropa University.
