ATTACHMENT 101 FOR COUPLES w/ Sylvie LamTuesday, January 18th | 5:30 PMHow important is your relationship or marriage? Most people will say that it is a big priority and for good reason. As humans, healthy relationships are one of the biggest predictors of our individual happiness and longevity. Yet no one teaches us how to navigate them skillfully. In fact we are left to flounder with what we picked up from parents, friends, and old lovers, often bringing out the worst parts of ourselves and our partners.
Come demystify your relational patterns and pitfalls with a three-hour experiential course in the neuroscience of connection, otherwise known as attachment theory. You will walk away with a greater understanding of the basic mechanics of attachment theory, how they apply to you and your partner, and how to work with your brains instead of against them. (Bring your partner, a journal, and all your questions)
