A live, interactive comedy show by some of the best improv actors in the Midwest. Voted Best Improv/Sketch group in Kansas City five times. The KC Improv Show is The KC Improv Company’s signature show, featuring improvised comedy from the cast of The KC Improv Company. Games. Scenes. Characters. All made up, based on your suggestions. Tonight's show features Shannon Walsh as a guest storyteller. Shannon stumbled into improv in Minneapolis performing in college and then at the legendary Brave New Workshop. As a proud Kansas City native, she couldn’t stay away for long and has performed on a stages like The Barn and the River City Theaters. She’s also served on the board of the KC Independent Filmmakers Coalition, and worked in local film. Life forced a hiatus from performing, but she is thrilled to get back on stage. The KC Improv Company started in a basement. 21 years later, the group performs 4-5 shows a week at The KC Improv Company Theater, multiple private events throughout the Midwest, and operates a year-round curriculum of improv classes.
