Description

Community Dinner Under the Stars in Curtis Hixon Park! "The Table in the Park” is a sophisticated, unique outdoor community dinner to support eMerge Career Collaborative, MacDonald Training Center (MTC)'s innovative post- secondary vocational education opportunity for people with disabilities. The festive sit down dinner under the stars returns to Tampa’s beautiful riverfront park on Saturday, November 20, offering the public an elegant opportunity to experience a night of gratitude and support for people with disabilities. With COVID protocols in mind, tables will be spaced differently this year to allow guests the ability to dine and interact with others as much or as little as they choose in this beautiful outdoor setting. Tables are available in settings of 2-date night, or for parties of 4, 6, 8 or 10. The evening begins with an outdoor reception for VIP guests at 6 pm, with signature cocktails. All guests are invited to a beer/wine reception at 6:30. The three course dinner includes appetizer, entree and dessert, paired with white and red wines. Dinner selections are a nod to Tampa's Latin and Italian heritage: Ropa Vieja or Chicken and Cheese Ravioli in Cream Sauce with seasonal vegetables. Vegetarian options are available when selected in advance. In order to ensure we have your correct dinner selection, we strongly suggest that you PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM OUR WEBSITE: When purchasing tickets, please select your dinner choice, as quantities are limited and substitutions difficult as we dine al fresco in the park! There will be music and entertainment throughout the evening! We are so happy to welcome you back to "The Table in the Park” which will be held in conjunction with the opening of the annual Holiday events including the Ice Rink, Outdoor Movie and Winter Village in the Park. MacDonald Training Center's mission is "to empower people with disabilities to lead the lives they choose."  For an individual with a disability MTC is hope!
