Celebrating the beauty of Diwali with Loving Community! We are so excited to team up again with the AMAZING Domenica of Branch and Blossom Botanicals for a Diwali Floral Garland Workshop...for ALL AGES!! From Branch & Blossom Botanicals: Come celebrate the last day of Diwali with BRANCH+Blossom and Rohi's Readery at Rosemary Square. We'll be helping the Readery host several activities throughout the day to honor this special occasion. Then, at 4 pm, you can bring your children to join us for a Diwali Floral Garland Workshop where we will be helping all of our young friends make their own wearable flower necklaces to celebrate the festival of light! We will be stringing marigolds and carnations in the traditional colors of Diwali to create one-of-a-kind wearable art. As this event is designed for children, all of our participants will be using plastic safety needles and special string to safely construct their garlands, however, we do ask that a caregiver stays to lend a helping hand. As always, Rohi's will be funding the workshop so that any children who want to participate may do so at no cost to them! Throughout the day, you may also come and add petals to the rangoli we will be constructing in front of the Readery. This Diwali tradition is said to bring prosperity to businesses and families, and we can't think of a better way to honor Pranoo and the Readery than with a flower filled rangoli. It will be an awesome day of culture and creativity and a great way to open up a window to the world outside of our community.
