FREMONT, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert on Sunday afternoon due to a traffic collision on Interstate Highway 680 in Fremont. The crash was first reported about 12:45 p.m. on southbound I-680 near Mission Boulevard, according to the CHP. As of 1 p.m., three southbound lanes were blocked on the freeway. Information about injuries was not immediately available.
