Press release from the City of Champaign: October 30, 2021 On October 30, 2021, at approximately 3:52 p.m., Champaign Police responded to the 1500 block of Holly Hill Drive for the report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male with a single life-threatening gunshot wound to the chest. Officers provided CPR and medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived.
