Grace was a much loved and well known research librarian in the Contra Costa County Library System and worked for 25 years at the El Cerrito Library. She was both a long time Board member of the Friends of El Cerrito Library and Chair before stepping down early this year. She was one of the founding Board members of the El Cerrito Library Foundation. She guided Friends' annual book sales and, with help of dedicated volunteers (for whom she had strong affection), raised funds for programming, books, and more for the El Cerrito Library. She personally donated generously to both Friends and Foundations fund raising efforts.
