Need to brush up on or improve your Interviewing Skills to nail that job you want? Need to learn how to answer tough interview questions with confidence. Take advantage of a free interview preparation class called Confidence Focused Interviewing on Nov 3rd at NC Works Career Center at 1830 Tillery PL in Raleigh NC from 9am-12:30pm. The class is one of a series of 4 classes. You can take one or more than one or all of them. There are different topics for each class. The series begins again every four weeks. So it does not matter when you enter the class. On Wed Nov 3rd we will be covering Transferable Skills to help you develop a Skills Summary Section of your resume. Adding these keywords will help your resume get through the ATS (Applicant Tracking System). Using them in your interview answers will help those interviewing you remember you. We will also learn how to develop Cover Letters that get attention. We often include interesting information about our job transition and passion for what we do in Cover Letters that doesn't get read by others nor shared by us. So we will discuss how to talk about our cover letter information in an interview. We will also practice interviewing and we will talk about answers to tough interview questions. No charge if you are unemployed (you do not have to be drawing unemployment), underemployed or have a notice of pending layoff.
